Biophysics is generally about the study of structure, dynamics, interactions and function of biological systems in terms of physics principles, while Medical Physics is about the application of physics in medicine, including development of medical imaging modalities, using radiation to cure cancer, and investigation the interactions of radiation with cells, tissues and organs of human body. Radiation measurements and dosimetry is another important area of medical physics. Medical Physicists are healthcare professionals.
