A big congratulation to Colm Morrison and Marco Marcello for winning awards from the WA branch of the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) on the 12th of September 2015.
Colm has been awarded the Robert Stanford award for the best submission in medical physics for his MSc thesis entitled “Development, treatment planning, and dosimetric verification of volumetric modulated arc therapy for total marrow irradiation”.
And Marco has awarded a Travel Grant designed to pay for his travel to the EPSM conference. Marco’s presentation was on “Treatment-quality measures impact on disease progression in prostate cancer radiotherapy”.
