We are hosting a Danish Medical Physicist, Dr. Hans Lynggard Riis, from Odense University Hospital from  August to mid-December this year. He is sponsored by the medical equipment company Elekta as well as the Nordic Association for Clinical Physics (NACP). He is undertaking some collaborative projects, particularly with Dr. Pejman Rowshanfarzad.
Their research project is on target spot position in linear accelerators used for radiotherapy. The aim is to develop accurate methods to investigate the target position when the treatment beam is rotating around the patient.
