This semester we welcome Kelly MacKinnon, who joins us on a science communication placement.Hi, I’m Kelly MacKinnon and I’m currently undertaking a BSc at UWA, majoring in Physics and Science Communications. As part of my science communications major I have the privilege of writing for the UWA Medical Physics program. I am currently hoping to do a Master of Science in Medical Physics, so am looking forward to getting an insight into the area.

You’ll be seeing some regular articles from me which will be a mix of interviews with medical physics professionals and articles on medical and nuclear physics. I hope you find them enjoyable as well as educational and that you get as much out of reading them as I will from writing them.
