Learn about innovation in medical physics in the free lecture, “Idea to Venture”. This workshop is the first of a series of Start-Up Exchange workshops, and is hosted by The Innovation Centre WA in conjunction with UWA’s Office of Industry and Innovation.
In “Idea to Venture,” Prof. Tim St Pierre will talk about the development of the FerriScan technology at UWA to the formation of ASX listed Resonance Health. Resonance Health’s lead product is FerriScan, a non-invasive tool for measuring liver iron concentration; it is the first such test to have achieved international regulatory approvals. The lecture will also feature Prof. Tim Mazzarol, who specialises in entrepreneurship, innovation, small business management, marketing and strategy.
