This month in Sydney Research Assoc/Prof. Mike House, Asst/Prof. Pejman Rowshanfarzad and Asst/Prof. Anita Adhitya met with representatives from each of the Australian universities that offer postgraduate programs in medical physics. The group is developing the national Medical Physics University Network, a collaboration to support the development and capacity of the medical physics community. The Network discussed progress towards educational and outreach initiatives, teaching platforms and collaborations; and welcomed new appointees, who will forge further links and share resources between the six universities and local hospitals.
